NT Junior Barramundi Classic 29 April 2024

The NT Junior Barramundi Classic, hosted by the Darwin Game Fishing Club will be held 29th April 2024. The bus leaves Darwin (Palmerston Leisure Center) at 6am returning at 8pm the same day.
The NT Junior Barramundi Classic is run as part of the Barramundi Classic , held on the unspoiled Daly River, located in the Northern Territory (250km south of Darwin). Those taking part are billeted onto boats that are entered into the week long senior event. Barramundi are caught, measured, tagged and released by the participants. Teams are permitted to fish a 52km stretch of the river from 10am to 3pm for one day. The purpose is to encourage the younger members of our club to enjoy the sport. Each participant receives an event shirt and a pack of goodies from the sponsors. The day concludes with a BBQ before heading back to Darwin.
